How long does the hair last?
Lifespan of Your Hair System
Each hair system has an average lifespan before needing replacement. The duration depends on how well you care for your system. Typically, our hair systems last around 4-9 months, although some clients manage to extend this significantly with proper maintenance.

All hair systems experience some hair loss over time, similar to natural hair shedding. The hair is ventilated into either a lace or skin base system, so shedding occurs gradually over a period.

Is it waterproof?
Natural Hair Experience
Yes, most definitely! Our hair systems feel like natural hair grown from the roots. You will be able to shower and wash your hair like normal. There are a few techniques we will show you on how to wash and condition your hair.
Swimming and Maintenance
If you are a regular swimmer, that’s fine too. We will advise you on a more regular maintenance program to preserve the life of your hair system.

How should I maintain it?
Washing and Conditioning
Your hair system should be washed with tepid water whenever it becomes dirty, and conditioner should be applied to restore moisture and elasticity. Air drying is recommended, although a warm hair dryer can be used from a distance if necessary.
Frequency of Washing
Typically, the system should be washed 1-2 times per week. Those engaging in regular physical activity may need more frequent washing. Daily washing is not required; dry shampoo can be used to refresh the system as needed.
Scalp Cleaning and Adhesive Replacement
It is advised to remove the hair system every 4-6 weeks to clean the scalp and replace the adhesive. For active lifestyles, more frequent maintenance sessions may be necessary
Can I go to the gym straight after my hair replacement system is fitted?
No, in order for the system to fully cure, it is best to wait 24-48 hours before sweating profusely. Also it is advised not to shower for the first 24 hours after your system is fitted
Can I swim with my hair system?
Absolutely! The hair systems are made with human hair from a donor (ethically sourced). You treat the hair system with care, just as you would with your own hair. Always wash and condition after swimming in the pool or sea with recommend products.
Would anyone be able to tell I wear a hair system?
No one will know that you are wearing a hair replacement system as they are undetectable. Even close up. Our systems are made with a lace or a skin poly base. Both replicate the scalp and the hair will look as if it is growing from your own scalp.
Can I use gel and other styling products in my hair system?
You can use products which are recommend, this will include hair sprays, gels and mouse. Try not to use products that cause build up or which give high alcohol content.
Are there side effects of wearing a hair system?
No. There are no proven side effects known. The mirco-mesh is full of tiny holes so that the skin can breathe (what specifically makes dermatologists very happy), and the hair system is 100% natural.
Can I change the colour of my hair system?
Our hair systems are made with 100% natural human hair which will allow you to have your system coloured or even highlighted, we would however only recommend that this be conducted within our own salons or by a stylist that is professionally trained in hair replacement systems.
What if my hair is already grey, is it possible to colour my hair then?
If you wish we can order your hair system with a similar percentage of grey hair, this will create the absolute most natural look.
What kind of hairstyles are possible with my hair system?
All kinds of men hair styles are possible, so it is advised to have a good idea of the style you would like and have some pictures where possible to show your stylist.
